What TalkToCRM writes to Salesforce

When a rep logs a call or meeting via TalkToCRM, it creates or updates:

  • Activity records (Tasks and Events) with transcript summary, sentiment, and action items
  • Contact and Account fields matched automatically from the conversation
  • Opportunity fields including deal stage, next steps, and close date if mentioned

These are standard Salesforce objects. Novigem rules can track any of them without additional configuration.

The fastest way to combine both products is a challenge that rewards reps for consistently logging conversations via TalkToCRM. The rule fires on the same Activity records TalkToCRM creates.

Qualifying condition: Use a Novigem rule filter on Task.Description != null or Task.Subject CONTAINS 'TalkToCRM' to distinguish voice-logged activities from manual entries.

Ask TalkToCRM to include a tag in the Subject or Description field so Novigem can reliably identify voice-logged records. They support custom field mappings.

Why this works: TalkToCRM already makes logging nearly effortless. Novigem adds the final reason to be consistent: visible progress, streak protection, and a competitive leaderboard. The combination typically closes the remaining gap between “I could log this” and “I always log this.”

Confirm field mappings in TalkToCRM

In TalkToCRM, confirm which Salesforce fields are written after a logged call or meeting.

Create a Novigem rule

In Novigem Admin, open Rules Builder and create a new rule on Task or Event with filters matching those fields.

Add the rule to a challenge

Add the rule to an active Challenge with a point value.

Optionally configure a streak bonus

Configure a streak bonus to reinforce daily consistency.

No webhook or API connection required between the two products.
