Admin Setup Guide

Install the package

Install the managed package via https://novigem.com/install . Choose Install for Admins Only. You will open access via permission sets in the next step.

Assign permission sets

Three permission sets ship with Novigem. Assign them under Setup → Permission Sets.

Add Novigem tabs to your app

Add the Novigem tabs to the Salesforce app your pilot team uses via Setup → App Manager.

End users need: Home tab (My Badges, My Challenges, My Points)

Admins need: Challenges · Rules · Badges · Badge Awards · Ledger Entries · Challenge Progress · Novigem Admin

Add Lightning components

Place components on your Salesforce pages via Lightning App Builder (gear icon → Edit Page).

Team Pulse needs no App Builder work. It ships as its own tab.

Configure settings and create starter rules

Review general settings under Novigem Admin → Settings → General, then create 2-4 rules to track the behaviours your pilot will reward.

Schedule the nightly job

Go to Novigem Admin → Settings → Scheduled Jobs and schedule Nightly Maintenance. It runs recurring challenge resets, coaching signals, and streak milestones. Until it is scheduled, no coaching signals are generated at all and the rep coaching card stays empty forever.

Verify the installation

Trigger a test action as a user with the Novigem User permission set, then check Ledger Entries to confirm an entry was created with the correct user, rule, and points.

Launch your first challenge

Create a challenge, link your rules, set a target, and activate.
